10 Reasons you Need to Do Squats



A fit body and a keen mind are essential to stay young and healthy, and squat exercises are the best way to ensure that happens.
  1. After a brief warm up, stand with your feet apart. The distance between your shoulders and your feet should be the same.
  2. Slowly bend your knees at 90 degrees as if you are about to sit on a chair. Care must be taken that only the knees should be bent. The back, the neck, and the face should be erect.
  3. Extend your arms straight, parallel to the ground, as shown in the figure.
  4. Rise up to the former position.
Beginners can start with 20 repetitions, two sets daily, and slowly increase the number.
